Dear Fred, Peter & Family
It is with great sadness I'm writing this, after learning of Inge's, my long time friends passing on the 10th January. I remember so many good times together. How we met each other at Cresknit, where we both worked & how our friendship developed. Meeting Peter when he was 11 or 12 years old. Going out together afterwork on Fridays for dinner & sharing a bottle of sparkling wine, laughing, talking & could we talk! Enjoying & always home by 9PM! Then going to the Dutch Club in StKilda together & the time Fred you met Inge & the rest is a happy memory. Fred it is so sad for you after 52 years of marriage to not be together. Peter to lose your mother, it doesn't matter what age you are, it is so hard. I do hope you both will be comforted in knowing how much you both meant to her as she always talked about you both with such love & fondness. She adored all her family. I told Teresa as she also worked with us at Cresknit, & she remembers Inge fondly. She sends her condolences & love to you both. Fred, Peter & Family, you have our love & condolences on the passing of Inge my dearest friend, who always siad as our conversations ended "Love you" "Be happy" Lesley George & Craig B

Inge was our ‘across the road neighbour’ in Yorkeys Knob for over 12 years. She was such a caring loving lady! We missed her and Fred so much when they went to Gympie. The wet season was never the same.. if a cyclone or power failure happened they were quickly over the road with the generator(and a beer)to make sure our family were ok. In the early years of Bobbie the delight of her life, I was often the back up carer when they travelled. He was so spoilt and loved. We visited them in Gympie twice and it was always as if they still lived next door. Inge was a great friend and a delight to be around. We will miss her!❤️

Dear Oma,

From your grandson David,

I remember as a child, it was so exciting when you visited from North Queensland and stayed in our house in South Australia

I was 9 years old and it was Christmas, Oma and Opa we're visiting and I got a Nintendo tropical fish game which I played over and over.  I still have that game, it was my favourite toy for many years.

Every year on my birthday, a package would arrive with my name on it, covered in postage stamps. I knew you were thinking of me and my family. You always sent gifts and loved to talk on the phone!

Although we lived far apart, I felt close to you. I remember you were filled with incredible energy. I liked to learn about my German heritage and hear your stories with my Opa, Fred.

All through my adult life I have felt your love and best wishes, to stay happy and healthy. It was so good that you could meet my wife Marcia and the
kids in the last couple of years.  We all had a great time when we visited. We were excited you loved the family photos we sent for Christmas!

Thank you for collecting so many first edition and mint postage stamps for me. I have all the collections in albums at home!

I will miss you.

Oma you lived an amazing life and raised your son Peter my dad. Your amazing energy and memory will be cherished.

Love David

To my dear Aunty Inger
I have many happy memories of you especially when I was a child. You were so full of life and a positive attitude this brought out the best in everyone who came to know you. They would smile and feel good this was a rare gift you had Aunty and will be missed.
I will always remember you with Love and Affection and a smile in my heart.
So until we meet again sleep well Aunty.

To Dear Omi,
Your passing was a shock and very sad because I'll miss your kind and devoted loving nature to your family and friends. I loved the way you were always so excited to talk to us and you always managed to brighten our day with your cheerful way with words and genuine loving interest in what our family was up to. Fred reminded me the other day of one of the first times we met when I was a young boy. He said that although I didn't know you well at the time, I instantly warmed to you, giving you big cuddles and fell asleep in Fred's arms as we walked around the shops. This is a great example of many cherished memories I have of you as a child and a wonderful tribute to how your loving nature was enjoyed by all that you knew and loved. Just recently when you sent me birthday wishes and I replied thank you so much Omi, from your "Boy Blue" (a playful nickname you gave me as a boy) it made your day and I just wanted you to know that I'll always be your little (big) boy blue at heart. We'll always miss our amazing Omi and the way you weren't afraid to learn new technologies to stay in contact with us and your great grand kids. Love always, Ross, Nikki, Kenzie and Edyson xoxox

Dear Oma,
What a shock it has been to lose you so you suddenly. Although there has always been a great distance between us, I have always felt that you loved me and held me in your thoughts. I will miss how you smiled with your eyes and voice when you would speak to me, how you would grab me on the arm when you would realise that I had said something cheeky to you, and how autocorrect would always change my name to 'Drew' when you would try to use my nickname in messages. It's the little things we miss the most rather than the big gestures. I hope that you knew that I love you very much and cherish the memories we have. Lots of Love, Andrea xxx

Mein Mutti
YOUR MOTHER IS ALWAYS WITH YOU,
SHE’S THE WHISPER OF THE LEAVES AS YOU WALK DOWN THE STREET
SHE’S THE SMELL OF BLEACH IN YOU FRESHLY LAUNDERED CLOTHES
SHE’S THE COOL HAND ON YOUR BROW, WHEN YOU’RE NOT WELL
YOUR MOTHER LIVES INSIDE YOUR LAUGHTER AND SHE’S CRYSTALLIZED IN EVERY TEAR DROP
SHE’S THE PLACE WHERE YOU CAME FROM, YOUR FIRST HOME
AND SHE’S THE MAP YOU FOLLOW WITH EVERY STEP YOU TAKE AS A CHILD
HER HAND LEADS YOU AND CARESSES YOU
SHE’S YOUR VERY FIRST LOVE AND NOTHING ON THIS EARTH CAN SEPARATE YOU –
NOT TIME, NOT SPACE, NOT YEARS, NOT EVEN DEATH
SHE WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER

We are so happy with the converted courtyard, and our three fur babies are just delighted to get an outdoor playground that they can access whenever they like. Pete with his attention to detail, really considering what the cats would enjoy when designing
